Troy provides administrative, research, and writing assistance to the lawyers and staff at Cohen Williams. From coordinating legal projects to drafting memoranda and maintaining case files, documents, and databases, he develops and implements organizational solutions that maximize the firm’s success across all phases of litigation. Troy is also a key support to CW’s trial teams, assisting with document review and production, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
Troy’s ability to manage complex information and workflows is the product of his scholarly endeavors. While at UC Santa Barbara, Troy was a member of the university’s Global Affairs Journal, contributing empirical research and writing on topics such as structural shifts in foreign direct investments and international maritime law in the South China Sea.
As a former judicial intern in Los Angeles Superior Court, Troy is well acquainted with the judicial system on both the criminal and civil sides. In addition to observing numerous trials in state and federal courts, he gained experience researching case law, preparing case summaries, and drafting a variety of legal memoranda.
Previously, Troy worked at a wealth management and investment firm in Pasadena, mapping estate structures and evaluating portfolio data on behalf of ultra-high-net-worth clients.
