Gabriel L. Pardo

Gabriel is highly experienced in both criminal and civil litigation. He achieves remarkable results for clients at all stages of a case, from favorable pre-indictment resolutions to dismissals and jury acquittals.

As a veteran of the Federal Public Defender's Office, Gabriel brings a versatile skillset and a strong work ethic to his private practice. Accustomed to independently leading complex federal criminal cases, he takes a hands-on approach to case management, conducting exhaustive research to ensure his clients are well-positioned to negotiate a favorable resolution or prevail at trial. He also draws on his knowledge of federal criminal law and procedure to untangle intricate legal issues and identify creative solutions.

Additionally, Gabriel represents indigent defendants by court appointment from the Criminal Justice Act panel for the Central District of California.

Prior to joining the firm, Gabriel spent more than three years as a trial attorney in the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Central District of California. In this role, he successfully handled a wide variety of federal criminal cases, including fraud, narcotic, firearm, counterfeiting, bribery, and tax offenses.

Earlier, Gabriel was an associate at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, where he worked on a variety of criminal and civil matters.  On the criminal side, he represented companies and individuals in antitrust prosecutions, internal investigations, and special litigation committee investigations. On the civil side, he represented public and private companies as both plaintiff and defendant in fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and antitrust matters.
