The Daily Journal announced that CW partner Reuven Cohen has been named to its "Top White Collar Lawyers 2025" list, which recognizes "top-performing" practitioners who have made significant contributions to the field of white collar criminal defense.
As the Daily Journal noted, Reuven has tried scores of nationally significant cases to verdict in federal and state courtrooms across the country. His current docket spans high-profile criminal defense matters involving allegations of fraud, healthcare violations, and conspiracy, including his representation of Kristina Khorram, former chief of staff of Sean "Diddy" Combs, in five civil actions alleging sex trafficking, RICO violations, and related torts. The publication also highlighted Reuven’s recent representation of an executive facing down 10 counts of wire fraud (resulting, allegedly, in a loss of approximately $60 million to investors), a 121-month sentence, and restitution exceeding $35 million. Through the careful negotiation of plea agreement language as well as pre-sentencing submissions, Reuven convinced the court to cut the client's sentence by almost two-thirds and rule that restitution had already been satisfied.
